Appearances

Dragon Quest VI

Making its debut, it is obtained by advancing to rank 4 of the Armamentalist vocation. It costs 4 MP to cast and is also used by Dhuran, Spiegel, and the Third Test.

Dragon Quest VII

Acting the same as in VI, it is learned by advancing to rank 1 of the Black bishop vocation and rank 6 of the Prism peacock vocation. It costs 4 MP to cast once again, and is used by Charmours, Blazing wingwyrms, Emperor slimes, and Nava, as well as Frighturns in the game's Reimagined remake.

Dragon Quest X

Reappearing for the first time in 3 games, it is learned at level 30 in the Luminary vocation and costs 3 MP to cast, lasting for 60 seconds. It is also used by Blinksters, Muggym and Curse of the Demon Balsil in battle, as well as Emperor Slimes once again. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by the Hero in the Luminary vocation at the same level and Prince Laguas at level 37.
