Appearances

Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake

Only appearing in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is used by Ratscals and Spiketail, costing 3 MP to cast for the first time since Dragon Warrior Monsters 2.

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake

Only appearing in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is used by Army ants, Octavian Pirates, Women o’ war, Hypermalediction, Octavian, and the Dragonlord's Grandson's True Form, as well as Ratscals once again, costing 3 MP to cast once again.

Dragon Quest III

Making its debut, it is learned by Priests and Sages at level 5 and costs 3 MP to use, increasing their allies' agility and evasion.

Dragon Quest IV

Learned by Borya at level 14, it once again costs 3 MP to use and is also used by Picksies in battle.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined

Only appearing in the game's Reimagined remake, it is learned by advancing to Proficiency Rank 7 of the Troubadour vocation and costs 4 MP to cast for the first time since The Dark Prince.

Dragon Quest VIII

Reappearing after a 4 game hiatus, it is learned by Jessica after investing 3 skill points into her Staff skill tree. It costs 3 MP to cast once again, and is also used by Mecha-mynahs, Boes, Wocs, See angels, and Octavian pirates in battle. In addition, it is also learned by Red when 3 skill points are invested into her Roguery skill tree in the 3DS remake.

Dragon Quest IX

Learned by Mages at level 4 and Armamentalists at level 12, it is nerfed in this entry, only raising the party's agility by 1 level and no longer raises their evasion rate. It costs 4 MP to cast, and is also used by Parched peckerels in battle.

Dragon Quest X

Acting the same as in IX, it is learned by Thieves at level 16, Armamentalists at level 21, Item Masters at level 24, and Druids and Pirates at level 62, as well as investing 3 skill points into a recruited Slime's Slimer skill tree, recruited Mischievous mole's Mischief skill tree, a recruited Needleman's Cutie Harry skill tree, and a recruited Mecha-mynah's Poppy Support skill tree, as well as the Toady skill tree for a recruited monster's 5th reincarnation. It costs 4 MP to cast once again, and is also used by Rumble bees, Scallop wallabies, Motherwoods, Needlemen, Prometimoses, Blue giraffes, Agehaflies, Needle rabbits, Sacred silver haardvarks, Muggy, Bondiri, and Mystical Juliante & Witch Valencia during their Strong boss fights, as well as Picksies and Parched Peckerels once again. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by the Hero in those same vocations and by Distan at level 20, in addition to already being learned by Prince Laguas when he joins the party, and is also used by Kyuusuke, Prince Odisu, and Dula when fighting alongside the party.

Dragon Quest XI

Learned by Serena and Sylvando at levels 17 and 15, it once again costs 4 MP to cast, and will increase a character's agility by 20% for 4~6 turns. It can be cast twice for a maximum boost of +40%, and is also used by Lurid lamplings, Raven lunatics and Hardy hands gone Vicious, Stark ravens gone Malicious, Boodica's left-hand man, Boodica's right-hand man, Gyldygga, her stronger form, and the Timewyrm, as well as Mecha-Mynahs for the first time since their debut when they have gone Malicious.

Dragon Warrior Monsters

Known as SpeedUp, it is an upgraded form of Speed, and is learned by a monster when it reaches level 5 with 24 MP and 20 intelligence. It costs 3 MP to cast once again.

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2

Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is learned the same way, though it now requires 36 intelligence. It costs 3 MP to cast once again.

Reappearing from the first Battle Road onwards, it is the Orc's blue button spell and acts the same as in previous appearances once again. If paired up with the player in the Hero vocation, it becomes the Light Spear skill.

Dragon Quest of the Stars

Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is the main spell of Golden dragon whip and its evolution.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The Hero can use this spell via the Command Special (Special Button + \/), costing 13 MP to cast and increases movement speed with the amount of knockback suffered.

Dragon Quest Walk

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned at level 10 when wielding the Baroque edge, already learned when wielding the Inferno wand, and by equipping the hearts of Rumble Bees, Komodos, Cruelcumbers, Aqua priests, and The Time Being, costing 16 MP to cast.

Dragon Quest Tact

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is already learned by Jamirus when he is recruited and costs 24 MP to cast for the first time since Super Light.

Acceleratle costs 4 MP and will raise the party's agility by 40% for 4~7 turns. It can be cast twice for an 80% boost in total, and is learned through the Blusterer, Dark Horse, Fluffy, Sage, Speedster, and Zap Virtuoso talents.
