Oomph (Oomphle in XI and DQotS) is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series.

Only appearing in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is used by Lump Shamen and the Dragonlord's True Form, costing 6 MP to cast once again.
Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is learned by Peronel at level 25. It costs 6 MP to cast once again, and is also used by Berserkers, Überkilling machines, Togrus Immensus, Octavian, and the Dragonlord's grandson's True Form, as well as Lethal Armours, Lump Shamen, Terror Trolls, Ashdemons, and Iron Knights once again.
Dragon Quest III
Making its debut, it is learned by Mages and Sages at level 21. It costs 6 MP to cast, and is also used by Abracadabrers, Terror trolls, and Iron Knights in the remakes, as well as Lump shamen, Lethal armours, Troobloovoodoos, Pandora's boxes, Ashdemons, Chiromancer, and Grand Dragon in the HD-2D Remake.
Dragon Quest IV
Acting the same as in its debut, it is learned by Borya at level 19, and by Psaro at level 36 in the remakes. It once again costs 6 MP to cast and is used by Togres in the remakes.
Dragon Quest V
Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it is learned by Bianca and Nera at level 13, Deborah at level 15, the Hero's daughter at level 16, recruited Revaulting horses and Grudgerigars at level 20, recruited Beastmasters at level 28, Dwight at level 45, recruited Pip fighters at level 55 and recruited Warhogs at level 10. It costs 6 MP to cast once again.
Dragon Quest VI
Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it is obtained by advancing to either Rank 2 of the Armamentalist vocation, Rank 3 of the Sage vocation, and can also be cast by using the Sword of Ramias as an item. It costs 6 MP to cast once again, and is also used by Sorcerers, Annihilanterns, Jugular jokers, Mortamor's second form, and Nokturnus in battle.
Dragon Quest VII
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is learned by reaching rank 4 of the Armamentalist, rank 2 of the Sage, rank 6 of the Pirate, rank 6 of the Paladin, rank 5 of the Champion, and rank 1 of the Hero and Druid vocations, while it can also be cast by using the Okeanos sword in battle. It costs 6 MP to cast once again, and is also used by Fighting batboons, Notso machos, Mucho machos, Mandrake majors, Terracotta warriors, Beastly priests, Togres, Vigilanterns, Hideous eyesaurs, and Macho Picchu, as well as Iron dukes and Sorcerers in the 3DS remake. In the game's Reimagined remake, it is learned by advancing to Proficiency Rank 2 of the Armamentalist vocation and Proficiency Rank 4 of the Luminary vocation. It costs 8 MP to cast for the first time since IX, and is also used by Mandrake mercenaries during the Vicious Green Dragon fight and Togrus Maximus when he gets Worked Up.
Dragon Quest VIII
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Jessica at level 19 and Angelo after adding 65 points to his Staff skill tree. Interestingly, the spell only increases damage by 80% in this game, likely due to the addition of the Tension system. Dragon Quest IX
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Mages at level 33 and Armamentalists at level 39, raising the recipient's attack by 25%, capping at 50%. It costs 8 MP to cast for the first time since Dragon Quest Swords. and is also used by Barriearthenwarriors, Prime slimes, and Yore, as well as Mandrake Majors and Nokturnus once again.
Dragon Quest X
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Armamentalists at level 43, Item Masters at level 62, Demon Swordsmen at level 69, and Rangers at level 72, as well as investing 25 skill points into a recruited Mandrake Major's Gekkou Art skill tree, 40 skill points into a recruited monster's Toady skill tree, a recruited Slime's Slimer skill tree, and a recruited Mecha-mynah's Supporting skill tree, raising the recipient's attack by 40% for 120 seconds. TwinHits now requires 119 Intelligence to learn. It is naturally learned by the Grakos, MultiEyes, Orligon and Petiteel.

Oomph is learnt by Claymore at level 15.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Oomph increases the Attack of a single monster by two stages. It can be learned from various skill trees.

Acting mostly the same as in previous appearances once again, it is the blue button spell of the Notso Macho and Sword breaker, as well as the third ability for Gigantes and Dullahan, replacing their Helibopter and Song of Despair if paired up with players in the Mage vocation for the former and in the Sage vocation for the latter, but increases the whole team's attack instead of 1 ally and/or the user. It is also used by Mortamor's second form once again.
Dragon Quest of the Stars
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is a spell for the Knockout rod, Okeanos sword and Sword of Ramias weapons, but can also be equipped to other weapons as well.
Dragon Quest Heroes
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is already learned by Nera when she joins the party, and is also already enhanced further with Oomph Extender, but can increase the whole party's attack instead of either 1 ally and/or the user. It costs 20 MP to cast, and is also used by Belials and Hell gladiators in battle.
Dragon Quest Heroes II
Acting the same as in Dragon Quest Heroes, it is learned by investing 20 skill points into Lazarel and Teresa's skill trees as Sages when wielding whips, and already learned by Angelo when he joins the party. It costs 18 MP to cast (9 MP in the 1.5 update), and is used by Hacksauruses, Loss leaders, King of Klor, and Dhuran, as well as Hell Gladiators once again.

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it appears as a spell for Okeanos sword.
Dragon Quest Rivals
Oomph appeared under the name Oomph Scroll as an ability for Merchant leaders in the standard card pack, costing 3 MP to use. When played, all friendly units in a single column would gain +2 to attack power.
Dragon Quest Tact
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Mandrake marshals at level 22, Gold-plated puppets at level 26, and Bianca, Schwarzchulds, and the Ace of Spades when they are recruited, costing 24 MP to cast.
Dragon Quest Treasures
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Queen slimes, Orc queens, Fiery draglings, Shiny Draglings, and Amber Drackies at level 30, costing 20 MP to cast.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince
Oomph costs 6 MP and will raise one monster's attack by 50% for 2~5 turns, and cannot be stacked with multiple castings. It is learned through the Bang Afficionado, Cleric, Fortifier, Frizz Afficionado, Good Knight, Magic Maven, Mortamor, Nelgel the Netherfiend, Nokturnus, Power Player, Strong Speller, Taste Buddies, and Willing Helper talents.
