Fire Breath is a recurring breath attack in the Dragon Quest series.

Singes all enemies for 6~10 damage.
Appearances
Dragon Quest Remakes
Only appearing in the remakes, it is used by Green dragons, Blue dragons, Dread dragons, and the Dragonlord in battle. In the HD-2D Remake, it is also used by Chimaeras, Hell Ninos, and Grillerpillars once again.
Dragon Quest II Remakes
Only appearing in the remakes, it is used by Gremlins, Dragonflies, Grimlins, Dancing flames, and Batmandrills, as well as Green Dragons once again in battle. In the HD-2D Remake, it is used by Hell Ninos and Magmalices once again.
Dragon Quest III Remakes
Only appearing in the remakes, it is used by Grillerpillars, Hell niñoes, Magmalices, Chimaeras, Troobloovoodoos, and Orochi in battle.
Dragon Quest V
Making its debut, it is learned by many monsters and does not cost MP to use. It is also used by Lava larvas, Small fries, and Flamethrowers in battle.

Dragon Quest VI
Acting the same as in V, it is obtained at Rank 1 of the Dragon vocation. It costs 0 MP to use once again, and is also used by Burning men, Hell niñoes, and Scorching men in battle.
Dragon Quest VII
Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it can be learned by advancing to Rank 1 of the Rashaverak, and Rank 2 of the Chimaera and Drake slime vocations, hitting all enemies for 6~10 damage. It costs 0 MP to use once again and is also used by Drake slimes, Caper tigers, Chimaeras, Glowering Inferno, and the Slaughtomaton in battle. It is strengthened in the 3DS remake, hitting for 20~30 damage and can also be learned by advancing to Rank 3 of the Monster Masher vocation.
Dragon Quest VIII
Munchie can use Fire Breath after eating a Plain cheese. It is also used by Frogfaces and Dancing flames in battle.
Dragon Quest IX
An enemy only skill, it is used by Earthenwarriors, as well as Chimaeras and Hell Ninos once again.
Dragon Quest X
An enemy only skill once again, it is used by Frizzards, Pickayunes, Leery louts, Ham shamwitches, Gremlins, and Elder shields, as well as Chimaeras once again.
Dragon Quest XI
An enemy only skill once again, it is used by Smogs, Sham hatwitches, and Skullriders, as well as Chimaeras once again.
Dragon Warrior Monsters and Dragon Warrior Monsters 2
Known as FireAir in these game, this ability can be learned by a variety of monsters. It requires the monster to reach at least level 3 with at least 21 HP. It grows into BlazeAir when the monster reaches level 10 with at least 70 HP. It is naturally learned by the BattleRex, Darkdrium, DeathMore (Transformed), DracoLord (Dragon form), Dragon, DragonKid, DrakSlime, Gismo, LavaMan, LizardFly, Mirudraas (Transformed), Mudou, NiteWhip, Orochi, Phoenix, Pizzaro, Sidoh, SkyDragon and StagBug.
In the sequel it is naturally learned by the AsuraZoma, Demonite, Digong, GigaDraco, MetalDrak and Shantak. It is no longer naturally learned by the NiteWhip.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3/Professional
Fire Breath can be used by the Dragon & Fire Breather skillsets. They both require two points.
Dragon Quest Heroes II
Ruff will learn how to use this skill for 3 points. He exhales a fan-shaped plume of flames towards enemies, damaging the same ones multiple times if performed up close.
Dragon Quest: Scan Battlers
Appears as a skill for Chimaeras.
Dragon Quest Walk
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Monster Masters and recruited Stark ravens, Ethereal serpents, Pickayunes, Flamethrowers, and Small Fries at level 10. It costs 10 MP for players and 24 MP for recruited monsters.
Dragon Quest Tact
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Firespirits at level 16, and already learned by Chimaeras, Hell Ninos, Hydras, Axesauruses, and Fiery draglings when they are recruited. It costs 9 MP to use, while a scroll of this ability can be obtained by clearing Stage 2 of Balzack, Great sabrecub, Old flame, and Chocobo's Battle Roads, and Stage 4 of Estelle's Battle Road.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince
Fire Breath costs 3 MP and deals 8~18 damage to all enemies. It is learned through the Blazer, Dragonheart, Frizz Afficionado, and Shallow Breather talents.
Dragon Quest Smash/Grow
Acting mostly the same as in previous appearances, it is used by Firebirds, as well as Green Dragons once again, but can also inflict the Burn status effects on enemies in range.
