Knight aberrant is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Characteristics
Wearing heavy, bulky armour and equipped with an axe and usually a shield, the knight aberrant is as impressive a physical force as its appearance lets on. In the original NES version of Dragon Quest, as well as X and XI, it was armed only with an axe and faced to the right, likely to differentiate it some from related monsters.
Appearances
Main games
Dragon Quest
The knight aberrant appears as an optional boss in the ruined town of Damdara. Fighting it is not necessary to beat the game, it certainly makes doing so easier since Erdrick's Armor can be found nearby.
