Appearances

Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake

Only appearing in the HD-2D Remake, it is already learned by the Hero at the start of his journey and costs 7 MP to use. If combined with the Soul Sigil, it becomes the Souped-Up Skill Beast Bopper.

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake

Only appearing in the HD-2D Remake, it is already learned by Gawain at the start of his journey and costs 7 MP to use once again. Just like I HD-2D, if used alongside the Soul Sigil, it once again becomes the Souped-Up Skill Beast Bopper.

Dragon Quest IX

Making its debut, it is learned when 13 skill points are invested into the Spear skill tree and costs 0 MP to use.

Dragon Quest X

Acting the same as in IX, it is learned by investing 7 skill points into the Spear skill tree, and costs 1 MP to use. The motion is different in this entry, poking beast monsters down from the upper position and can also be enhanced with the Master Orb system from Version 3 onwards. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by investing 1 skill point into the Hero and Prince Laguas's Spear skill trees, but costs 2 MP to use, similar to XI.

Dragon Quest XI

Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is learned by investing 3 skill points into Serena and Jade's Spears Character Builder, and costs 2 MP to use. The motion of the attack in the normal 3D Mode of the game is the same as in X, though in the 2D Mode, it has the simple piercing effect.

Dragon Quest of the Stars

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is the main skill of various D Rank spears, and can also be equipped to other weapons.

Dragon Quest Walk

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned at level 10 when wielding the Metal slime spear, and already learned when wielding the Imp spear, Storm spear, Partisan, Battle fork, Azure dragon spear, and Heavenly spear of the world tree (red) weapons, costing 3 MP to use.

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow

Appears as the Coup de Grâce for Partisan.
