Pep Powers (れんけい技, Renkei Technique) are a new gameplay mechanic in Dragon Quest XI, as well as Dragon Quest X retroactively.

Retroactively making their debut from 6.4 onwards, they are learned via Master Vocations such as Guardian, Dragon Magician, and Hermit after completing Chapter 4 of their quests.

Guardian
- Boost Aura: Increases damage dealt by 50% for 45 seconds and reduces CT by 10 seconds for 5 minutes.
- Fortification Area: Nullifies all damage taken by the party for 15 seconds via a golden circle. Does not nullify status changing spells and skills that don't deal damage.
Dragon Magician
- Puff!: Transforms the user into a dragon.
Hermit
- Descending Spirit: Enters swarm mode for a certain period of time and deploys an area that continuously heals and revives allies within range.
- Spirit Blast: Deals large lightning damage to a single enemy and recovers HP by a percentage of the damage dealt.
Storm Kaiser
- Tempest Emperor Slash: Damages large wind damage to 1 enemy; damage dealt increases based on the number of counters from physical attacks
- Spiritual Bird's Blessing: Enters a state that deals damage separate from Storm Clad
