Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the HD-2D Remake, it is learned by the Hero after obtaining a scroll in Cantlin. It costs 6 MP to use once again, and is used by Infernal Armours, Skeleton Swordsmen, and Trolls once again.
Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the HD-2D Remake, it is learned by Gawain at level 24. It costs 6 MP to use once again, and is used by Shining armours, Sinister Minister, and the King of Dirkandor, as well as Infernal Armours, Skeleton Swordsmen, Trolls, and Stone Guardians once again.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the HD-2D Remake, it is learned by Monster Wranglers at level 13. It costs 6 MP to use, and is used by Infernal armours, Skeleton Swordsmen, Trolls, Stone guardians, Ursa Argentums, Boss troll, Garboyle, the Bones of Baramos, and Grand Dragon in battle.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined
Only appearing in the game's Reimagined remake, it is learned by advancing to Proficiency Rank 3 of the Warrior vocation and already learned by Sir Mervyn when he joins the party, costing 4 MP to use for the first time since The Dark Prince.
Dragon Quest IX
Making its debut, it is learned with 100 skill points allocated into the Warrior's Courage skill tree. It costs 4 MP to use, and is also used by Mean spirits, Hunter mechs, Lethal armours, and Fright knights in battle.
Dragon Quest X
Acting the same as in IX, it is once again learned with 100 skill points invested into a Warrior's Courage skill tree and is also learned by recruited Restless armours by investing 25 skill points into their Straight Sword skill tree, while its power can be increased by 25% after 43 skill points are invested in the aforementioned skill tree from the 10th reincarnation onwards. It costs 4 MP to use once again, and is also used by Scallop wallabies, Undentured servants, Mandrake mercenaries, Bilebonnets, Mandrake murderers, Mechidroids, Spirits, Lost Superior Gittish Soldiers, Type G0s, Dark Berserker, the Berserker Ogre, and Terudmir, as well as Mean Spirits and Hunter Mechs once again. It In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by the Hero at level 50 in the Warrior vocation, investing 12 skill points into Mjoll's Powerful skill tree, and 11 skill points into Hussar's Cool skill tree.
Dragon Quest XI
An enemy-only skill in this entry, it is used by Hunter Mechs, Bilebonnets, and Type G0s in battle once again, but otherwise acts the same as in previous appearances.
Dragon Quest Heroes II
Only appearing in the Nintendo Switch version of the game, it is learned by Ragnar McRyan by investing 6 skill points and acts the same as in previous appearances once again, costing 0 MP to use.
Dragon Quest of the Stars
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is a skill for the Warrior vocation, and the Steel broadsword, though it can also be equipped to any melee weapon. It is used by Lethal Armours for the first time since IX.
Dragon Quest Walk
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by the Warrior vocation at level 25, level 10 for the Gladiator vocation, Holy Shield Axe and Fire blade weapons, and level 5 in the Demon vocation, costing 10 MP to use. It is also learned by recruited Killing machines at level 10 and recruited Walking corpses and Brownies at level 50, costing 20 MP for the monsters to use. It is also used by Hunter Mechs and Undentured Servants in battle once again.
Dragon Quest Tact
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is already learned by Stone golems, Ragnar McRyan, Lethal Armours, Wulfspade, and Purrcival when they are recruited, costing 12 MP to use. A scroll for this ability can be obtained by clearing Stage 4 of Crabid and Sintaur's Battle Roads, and Stage 2 of Robbin' 'ood's Battle Road.
