Servantes is an character in Dragon Quest XI.
Biography
Dragon Quest XI
He is first mentioned by Rab when entering Puerto Valor when Rab tells The Luminary he wants to meet Don Rodrigo in a conversation between the two before entering his own mansion. They are greeted by Servantes instead, as he explains that the Don went to Heliodor to teach the Heliodorian knights and Hendrik sword fighting for their training. Rab successfully pleads his case to open the city's sluice gates that run beneath the manor. Afterward, Servantes looks out from an upper level window to watch the Salty Stallion pass by, wishing his old comrade well on the journey to come. Still, Servantes wonders if the Don's estranged son, now going by Sylvando, is with Rab and the party.
In Post Game, after doing the Tweedledoom and Tweedledeath quest he gives you Don Rodrigo's favourite outfit which is known as The Don, however only Sylvando can equip it.
Etymology
As Puerto Valor is themed after coastal Spain, Servantes is a play on "servant" and Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes, the latter being noted for his tales of the eccentric Don Quixote.
