The Princess Pledge (formerly Gwaelin's Love and LoraLuv, Princess's Love in DQotS, Princess's Pledge in DQXI, DQT, DQTR, and Smash/Grow) is an item in the original Dragon Quest and a recurring accessory/skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest
Making its debut alongside the series, it is given to the Hero by Princess Gwaelin after he rescues her from the Green dragon at Quagmire Cave and returns her to Tantegel. When used on the overworld, the voice of Princess Gwaelin tells the Hero his exact distance from Tantegel, as well as the EXP he needs to reach the next level, though its primary purpose is to aid the player in locating the Mark of Erdrick, which is hidden in a swamp on the overworld.
Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake
Appearing in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is Midenhall's secret treasure that is given to Gawain by the King of Midenhall to find the Prince's fellow Scions and is also used to unmask the fake Peronel as Belial in the Passage to Rendarak.
Dragon Quest X
Appearing as a neck accessory, it can be obtained for 300 Dragon scale fragments.
Dragon Quest XI
Appearing as a key item for the first time since its debut, it is obtained by starting the game with a certain Spell of Restoration, while in the overseas version, it is obtained by defeating the Malicious Gloomnivore in the postgame.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Victory
Appearing as an SP card, it cuts the damage from an opponent's attack by 30% and lasts for up to 3 turns.

Dragon Quest Tact
Appearing as the Coup de Grâce for Princess Gwaelin, it is learned by her at level 80, greatly recovering one ally's HP and putting them in an Auto Revive state for 99 turns, requiring 3 turns to be used and can only be used once. It costs 85 MP for the Princess of Tantegel to use, while upgrading the skill reduces the MP cost.
