The Magic Sword is an ability in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. It is a unique power to Dragon knights by combining sword techniques and magic spells together. It predates armamentalist abilities to do the same.
It creates an attack that is both physical and magical in nature to greatly reinforce its overall destructive power and bypass spell resistant protection, like the Dark Armor Blade.
