Stomp (Boulder Bash in the Dragon Quest Monsters series prior to The Dark Prince) is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances
Dragon Quest IV Remakes
Only appearing in the remakes, it is used by Drakulards in the bonus dungeon.
Dragon Quest VI
Making its debut, it is learned by advancing to rank 4 of the Ranger vocation, as well as recruited Boss trolls in the SNES original, damages all enemies with a tremor for 50~65 Woosh-type damage, but has a 1/3rd chance to fail regardless of terrain, and will always fail at sea. It costs 0 MP to use, and is used by Living statues, Stone guardians, the Scrimsley terror, Blackmar, and Cabot in battle.
Dragon Quest VII
As there is no Ranger vocation in VII, it can only be learned by reaching rank 6 of the Golem vocation and rank 1 of the Paladin vocation in the 3DS remake. It costs 0 MP to use once again, and is also used by Weighverns, Wide-load weighverns, Warlord weighverns, Drakulards, Drakulords, Lumberdraks, Whaleverns, and Togrus Maximus in battle. In the game's Reimagined remake, it is instead learned by advancing to Proficiency Rank 6 of the Sailor vocation and can potentially cause enemies to fall. It costs 6 MP to use.
Dragon Quest IX
After taking a backseat from the previous game, the skill can deal anywhere from 15~19 damage to 90~108 damage and its element has switched from wind to earth from this game onwards. It is used by Drastic drackals, Garth Goyle, Gadrongo, Rover, and Nodoph, as well as Stone Guardians and Drakulords once again.
Dragon Quest X
Entirely dedicated to monsters in this game, it causes a strong vibration and a lot of earth damage to surrounding enemies, though it can avoided by moving out of range or jumping at just the right moment. It is used by Gnucifers, Gnumesises, Drakularges, Drakulurchs, Demon Gaurad, King of Calamity, Gezora, Grimos, Cast iron statue, Shingo Junoga, Bad General Togrus Maximus, the Ancient Demon, Darkas, Unknogre, and Brilliant Noxelia, as well as Drakulords, Stone Guardians, and Togrus Maximus once again.
Dragon Quest XI
Acting the same as in previous games, it is used by Mosstodons and Snowgres in battle against their enemies, the latter of which does not fail at sea unlike VI and VII.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Making its Monsters series debut, it is learned by investing 60 skill points into the Cluboon skillset and 24 skill points into the Cluboon II skillset, dealing around 80~100 earth damage to all enemies. It costs 10 MP to use, and does not have a chance to fail.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2/Professional
Acting mostly the same as in Joker, it is learned by investing 9 skill points into the Bjørn skillset, 20 skill points into the Ruin skillset, 21 skill points into the Dual Duellers skillset, and 31 skill points into the Bombardier skillset, as well as the Cluboon and Cluboon II skillsets once again, but now deals a combination of Bang and Donk-element damage. It costs 8 MP to use.

Stomp is an enemy-only skill that can be used by Metal dragon during the Woosh-type Upgrade level on Hell difficulty. It costs 49 MP to use and inflicts major typeless martial damage to a single enemy.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince
Acting the same as in previous Monsters series appearances once again and now named properly, it is learned by investing 8 skill points into the Bombshell talent, 20 skill points into the Airhead talent, 30 skill points into the Wrecker talent, 50 skill points into the Crag Afficionado talent, and 100 skill points into the Hulk talent, costing 12 MP to use for the first time since Joker 3 Professional.
Dragon Quest Smash/Grow
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is used by Golem to damage all enemies in range and also sends out rocks flying around the battlefield that damage enemies on contact.
