The Royal Crypt is a dungeon in Dragon Quest IV. Located on a peninsula south of Endor, it contains the mod rod, an item needed to infiltrate Diabolic Hall. In order to enter the crypt, the Hero must possess the Ultimate key.

It is also notable for being home to liquid metal slimes.
