Muster Strength is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.
Description
Builds up energy for the next attack, dealing 200%~250% damage on the user's next attack.
Appearances
Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the HD-2D Remake, it is learned by the Hero after obtaining a scroll in the Craggy Cave. It costs 3 MP to use once again, and is also used by Gold Golems and the Golem. If used alongside the Soul Sigil, it becomes the Souped-Up Skill Muster More Strength.
Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is learned by Gawain at level 7 and can also be learned by Matilda after obtaining a scroll from a bookcase in Dirkandor's back passage. It costs 3 MP to use once again, and is also used by Boat-borers, the King of Dirkandor, Atlas, and Octavian, as well as Whackanapes, Living Statues, and Gold Golems once again. Just like I HD-2D, if combined with the Soul Sigil, it becomes Muster More Strength for Gawain, though if Matilda's Muster Strength is used alongside the Soul Sigil, it becomes the Souped-Up Skill Chant of Champions.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the HD-2D Remake, it is learned by Merchants at level 9. It costs 3 MP to use, and is used by Whackanapes and Living statues in battle.
Dragon Quest IV
Making its debut, it is a random action of Torneko Taloon, and is a skill of Hank Hoffman Jr. during the time he is with the party. It is also used by Mad moles, Bagworms, Hellions, Abominable Showman, Tricksies, and Kirk Buzzer in battle, as well as Chow Mein in the remakes.
Dragon Quest V
Now a freely usable action, Muster Strength is used by the following monster companions:

It costs 0 MP to use and is also used by Brownies, Stone golems, Tortoceratopses, and Thaumatosauruses in battle against their enemies. Pankraz also uses this skill during his second fight against Slon and Kon, but does not attack afterwards due to his son being held hostage.
Dragon Quest VI
Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it is learned by Kingsley at level 5, while other characters can obtain it by advancing to rank 2 of the Merchant vocation. It costs 0 MP to use once again and is also used by Haardvarks, Loathsome leeks, Scarewells, Stout trolls, Jackal rippers, Tower Sentry, Bigg, the Second Test, and Cabot in battle.
Dragon Quest VII
Acting the same once again, it can only be learned by advancing to Rank 5 of the Thief, Rank 4 of the Rockbomb, and Rank 2 of the Golem vocations. It costs 0 MP to use once again, and is also used by Swinoceroses, Grinades, Donkey xotes, Splatterhorns, Half hogs, Enormooses, Whole hogs, Hell hogs, Ginormooses, Night knights, Glowering Inferno, Rashers, Brigand, Setesh the Punisher, the Well wisher in the Roots of Ygg, and Moostapha, as well as Stone Golems once again in battle. In the Reimagined remake, it is used by Vicious Hammerhoods, Maeve, and Jovan in battle.
Dragon Quest XI
Reappearing in the main series for the first time in 4 games, it is an enemy only skill used by Bunicorns, Hoods, Spiked hares, 24-carrot bunicorns, Zumeanies, Golems, Face invaders, Flamethrowers, Hoodlums, Gold golems, Harmachises, Barbatoses, Foo dogs, King foo dogs, Robbin' 'ood, and Boodiful Hoodlums, as well as Brownies, Stone Golems, and Grinades once again.

Acting like Psyche Up from VIII, it consumes 2 fatigue points and increases the user's Tension by 1 level. It is already learned by Berserkers, Archdemons, Trolls, Boss trolls, Great Trolls, Mischievous Moles, Mad Moles, Moosifers, Barbatoses, Hammerhoods, Brownies, Stout Trolls, and Master moosifers when they are recruited, as well as Rockbombs at level 5 and Cyclopses at level 16.

Dragon Quest Tact
Already learned by Badboons, Tricksies, Wild beasts, Bullions, Drag-goons, Saber, Demonriders, Jackal Rippers, Grinades, Spiked clubs, Picky moles, Shogum, Magmantes, and Hym when they are recruited, it increases their physical power/effects by 1.5% for 1 turn, costing 16 MP for the first time since Super Light.
Dragon Quest Treasures
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is learned by Slimes, Gold Golems, Great sabrecats, Glacial golems, Golden goliathes, King she-slimes, Grotty hands, and Magmantes, costing 5 MP to use.

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned at level 10 when wielding the Cat's claw and Maxi axe weapons, and is already learned when wielding the Bandit axe, costing 5 MP to use once again.
