Mist Me is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances
Dragon Quest IX
Making its main series debut, it is learned by placing 55 skill points in the Ranger's Ruggedness skill tree. It shrouds the user in fog, which causes the next physical attack against them to fail. It costs 5 MP to use, and is also used by Freezing fogs and Cumulus hexes in battle against their enemies.
Dragon Quest X
Learned by investing 68 skill points into the Ruggedness skill tree, it acts mostly the same as in IX, however it can cause breath attacks to fail, even ones that cause status ailments. From the latter half of 2.4 onwards, it can also protect the user's allies from breath attacks. It costs 5 MP to use once again. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by the Hero in the Ranger vocation at level 34 and by investing 7 skill points into Prince Laguas's Royal Character Builder.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Making its debut, it is learned by investing 25 skill points into the Über Healer skillset, 33 skill points into the Aquapothecary skillset, 50 skill points into the Barricade skillset, and 82 skill points into the Bolsterer skillset, costing 10 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2/Joker 2 Professional
