Hardclaw (AKA Tiger Jacka in DQotS) is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest VIII 3DS
Only appearing in the 3DS remake, it is learned when Morrie invests 40 skill points into his Claw skill tree, and makes three attacks with 0.5x damage to one enemy, with 1.5 times the total damage for 0 MP.
Dragon Quest IX
Making its debut, it is learned with 58 skill points allocated into the Claw skill tree, with each swipe dealing 75% of a normal blow's power, and is the claw skill equivalent to Falcon Slash. It costs 0 MP to use.
Dragon Quest X
Once again learned with 58 skill points invested into the Claw skill tree, as well as investing 40 skill points into a recruited Small fry, Great sabrecat, Jailcat, and Mecha-mynah's Claw skill tree, it hits an enemy 3 times from this game onwards, but wasn't significantly buffed until 2.1 onwards. It costs 3 MP to use prior to 1.1 and 5 MP to use from 1.1 onwards, and is also used by Kate in battle. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by investing 7 skill points into the Hero and Mjoll's Claws Character Builders.
Dragon Quest XI
Acting the same as in X, it is learned by investing 14 skill points into Rab's Claws Character Builder and 18 skill points for Jade's Claws Character Builder. It costs 10 MP to use and is also used by Jumping jackals, Jackal rippers, and Tiger jackals in battle against their enemies, as well as Vince. It is also used alongside the Luminary's Dragon Slash skill for the Raging Dragons Pep Power.

Dragon Quest Rivals
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is used by Alena as one of her abilities when summoned, and costs 2 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Walk
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by Martial Artists at level 40, Rangers at level 25, and when wielding the Silver claws and Cobra claws at level 20, costing 11 MP to use. In addition, it is learned by recruited Mummy boys, Weartigers, and Saber at level 50, costing 24 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Tact
Learned by Debora at level 34, it acts the same as in previous appearances once again and costs 43 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Champions
Appearing as a Coup de Grâce for the Cat's claw in this spinoff entry, it acts the same as in previous appearances once again.
