Dragon Quest IX

Making its debut, it is the Coup de Grâce for the Warrior vocation and deals a critical hit to one enemy with the motion of a light sword from the user's hand and is useful in killing Metal slimes, provided the Coup effect is on.

Dragon Quest X

Once again the Coup de Grâce for the Warrior vocation, it initially had the same motion as in IX, until 2.1, which now has a powerful punch motion that damages monsters within half a meter of the selected target.

Dragon Quest XI

Now a skill, it is learned when 20 skill points are invested into Erik's Guile Character Builder, either having the attack motion from X in the PS4 and 3D Mode of the Definitive Edition, or the attack motion from IX in the 3DS and 2D Mode of the Definitive Edition. Dragon Quest Tact

A Coup de Grâce for the first time since X, it is learned by Corsair Erik at level , dealing a critical hit that deals 260% physical damage to one enemy. It costs 88 MP to use, while upgrading the skill reduces MP cost and increases damage dealt, though it can only be used twice per battle and requires 2 turns to be activated.
