Appearances

Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake

Only appearing as a Souped-Up Skill in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is activated by combining the Hero's Wild Side skill with the Soul Sigil and costs 40 MP to use.

Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake

Only appearing as a Souped-Up Skill in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is once again activated by combining Caradoc's Wild Side skill with the Soul Sigil and costs 40 MP to use once again.

Dragon Quest IV

Making its debut, it is used by the Abominable showman during his fight with Alena to try and confuse her. If she hits any of the clones, the real one will shuffle while sticking his tongue out.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined

Only appearing in the game's Reimagined remake, it is the Let Loose technique for the Champion vocation and acts the same way as in previous appearances.

Dragon Quest VIII

Used by Dhoulmagus during the first phase of his boss fight, he spilts into 2 clones, though unlike the Showman, he and the clones have to be defeated to advance to the next phase of the fight.

Dragon Quest X

Acting mostly the same as in its last 2 appearances, it is used by Phantom General Fuzzma and Agent Yona, as well as the Abominable Showman once again, though they can produce as many clones as they want until they are defeated or, in the case of the latter, Anlucia's Hero's Eye is remembered.

Dragon Quest XI

Now finally usable by players in the main series, Erik learns this skill by investing 14 skill points into his Guile Character Builder and summons 2 ghosts of himself to copy his skills for a turn. It costs 6 MP to use and is used by the Erdrea version of the Abominable Showman in both the MMA fight and the postgame.

Dragon Quest Monster: Battle Road Series

Reappearing from Battle Road II onwards, it is the Skullrider's 3rd skill when it is paired up with the player in the Warrior vocation in lieu of Scorching Slash, summoning 2 clones of itself to damage one enemy.
