The battle-axe has an attack bonus of +50. They can be bought for 5,500 G in Riverton and Rosehill. Battle axes sell for 4,125 G. The Hero, Ragnar, and Psaro can equip them.
Dragon Quest V
The battle axe has an attack bonus of +45. Can be bought for 4,000 G in Stockenbarrel and sold for 3,000. Sancho, Brownie, Eliminator, Gigantes, and Orc King can equip it.
Dragon Quest VI
Has attack bonus of +49 and a style bonus of +15. Can be bought in Arkbolt, Clearvale, Swanstone, and Turnscote for 4,300 G. They can be sold for 3,225 G. Axesauruses and Tyrantosauruses drop them. The Hero, Carver, Amos, Terry, and Lizzie can equip them.
Dragon Quest VII
The battleaxe has an attack bonus of +49 and an appearance bonus of +15. It can be equipped by the Hero, Kiefer, and Aishe. They can be bought for 6,500 G and sold for 3,250 G.
Dragon Quest VIII
The battle-axe has an attack bonus of +45. It can only be equipped by Yangus. They can be bought for 4,300 G in Argonia and sold for 2,150 G.
