Etymology
Being a well-endowed monster, mashup of bad and Adonis, mythological mortal love interest of Greek goddesses Aphrodite and Persephone who, after he was slain by a wild boar, was passed between the pair semi-annually in the afterlife. Also a benchmark term for the ideal young man.
