The Poppets are a race that exists in Dragon Quest X.

Dragon Quest X
Created by the patron deity Pinahet in his image, almost all Poppets are extremely short, being even smaller than a Dwarf or an average Elf. They are covered by a soft, short fur, which become longer on their heads like regular hair; they also possess cat-like ears on their upper skull and a small, bunny-like tail.
While they know how to be serious when the need arises, most Poppets have somewhat childish personalities or quirks; they have also a natural affinity for anything sweet. with even their homeland, Pukland, having several natural resources, including minerals, that are sweet-tasting.
