Paralysis Attack (Paralysing Punch in most Monsters series games, Paralysing Touch in Super Light) is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series.
Description
Launches a melee attack that may paralyse the target.
Appearances
Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is used by Armageddon, as well as Dread Admirals and Men o' War once again.
Dragon Quest II HD-2D Remake
Only appearing in the game's HD-2D Remake, it is used by Deplorias, Mummy Deerest, and Lunagriff, as well as Scornets, Dread Admirals, Sail Serpents, and Men o' War once again.
Dragon Quest III
Making its debut, it is used by Scornets, Men o' war, and Dread admirals in battle against Erdrick and their companions, as well as Soaring scourgers, Phantasms, and the Soul of Baramos in the HD-2D Remake.
Dragon Quest IV
Acting the same as in III, it is used by Paralyslicers, Cocoon goons, Humbabas, Drooling ghouls, Pit vipers, Demonspawns, and Mangler fishes, as well as Men o' War once again. It is also used by Decayurions in the remakes.
Dragon Quest V
Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it is learned by recruited Fat Rats at level 5, recruited Rotten Apples at level 10, recruited Fandangows at level 20, and already learned by recruited Men o' War. It costs 0 MP to use, and is also used by Paralakeets, Deadcurions, and Fire-eaters, as well as Men o' War once again in battle against their enemies.
Dragon Quest VI
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is used by Hell hornets, Aristobats, Killer moths, Venom wasps, Zombie gladiators, and Sail serpents, as well as Men o' War once again.
Dragon Quest VII
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is used by Decayurions, Toxic zombies, Missing lynxes, Sting slimes, Disastropods, and the Claw breaker in the Temple Palace, as well as Deadcurions once again. It is also used by Picudas in the 3DS remake, as well as Togrus Maximus and Pit Vipers in the Reimagined remake.
Dragon Quest VIII
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is used by Soulspawns and Dark skeletons, as well as Hell Hornets, Venom Wasps, and Men o' War once again.
Dragon Quest IX
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is used by Peckerels and Cobra cardinals, as well as Men o' War, Dread Admirals, and Deadcurions once again.
Dragon Quest X
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is used by Rumble bees, Bilebonnets, Frolickers, Polar pollies, Cosmo ghouls, Deadly blades, Scorpions, Mossy ghouls, Blondies, and General Jamirus, as well as Men o' War, Scornets, Paralakeets, Paralyslicers, Missing Lynxes, and Claw Breakers once again.
Dragon Quest XI
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is used by Wight bulbs, as well as Men o' War, Sail Serpents, and Bilebonnets once again.

Dragon Quest Tact
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is already learned by Hunter mechs, Frolickers, Abracadabradors, and Zombie Gladiators when they are recruited, and learned by Drooling Ghouls at level 16. It costs 12 MP to use, while a scroll of this ability can also be obtained by clearing Stage 7 of Ghost's Battle Road story.
