Dora-In-Grey

Geyser is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series.

Description

Damages all enemies with a burst of boiling water.

Appearances

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2

Geyser is an interesting skill, in that it functions both as a one-turn stun and a damaging move. When used, it first attempts to launch an enemy high into the sky with a sudden burst of water, and if successful the target will take between 12.5% and 50% damage. The skill doesn't use the same resistance tag as other stun abilities, and instead relies on a foe's vulnerability to water. If the move fails, the foe will land safely and take no damage.

It is learned naturally by the Aquarella, Beavern, Octoreach, SeaHorse, and WhaleMage monsters and requires any of them to be at level 22 with a max HP of 140, an Attack of 120, Agility of 120, and a Wisdom of 288. It costs 2 MP to use, and can also be learned as a combo skill by any monster that has the aforementioned stats along with the RockThrow and HighJump skills.
