Gerda, the Snow Maiden is a character in Dragon Quest VI.

Appearance

Gerda is a woman with blue hair with a cyan flower in it. She also wears a long blue dress. Before returning the town to normal she has curled brown hair and wears a purple dress with white trim.

Biography

Dragon Quest VI

Gerda was a lonely snow fairy in the shrine north of Mt. Snowhere. She ended up rescuing a young Colburn fifty years ago in exchange for keeping the secret about her. Colburn naturally told people after returning to town, so Gerda put Mt. Snowhere in an eternal blizzard, freezing everyone but Colburn. When the party visits her, she encourages them to hear Colburn's story. When they came back with no answers, Gerda was convinced that Colburn learned his lesson and unfroze the village.
