Charming Look is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances
Dragon Quest VIII
Making its debut, Angelo learns this skill when 81 skill points are invested in his Charisma skill tree and deals 65~85 damage with a 25% chance to paralyze the target, while dealing 65~105 damage in the 3DS port. It costs 4 MP to use.
Dragon Quest X
Reappearing after an absence in IX, it deals damage just like VIII, but can mesmerize an enemy. It is used by Charm bats, Hellbound hair-raisers, Hellbound heretics, Fruity succubats, Vampire succubats, Bone idols, and Pusgon and her awakened self.
Dragon Quest XI
While the ability acts the same as in X, it no longer deals damage and is used by Fruity Succubats, Vampire Succubats, Hellbound Hair-Raisers, & Hellbound Heretics once again.
