Apocalyptic Lightning is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances
Dragon Quest IX
Debuting as the strongest version of Lightning, it is used by Wonder wyrtles and Greygnarl in Grotto boss fights. It deals 162-197 damage for the former and 166-201 for the latter. It is also used by Murdaw when he is leveled up to level 28.
Dragon Quest X
Once again used by Wonder wyrtles, it can deal a lot of damage, in addition to potentially lowering all attributes, paralyzing enemies, and removing buffs, similar to Disruptive Wave.
